Corona Life Services could not operate without the love and dedication of our many volunteers. No experience is necessary to volunteer for CLS, we will train you! No matter your level of availability or what your giftings are, we can use you on our team!

Client Advocate (Women Only)

Our Client Advocates reach out to women in a crisis by a offering compassionate listening ear and practical assistance. The Advocate meets with the client to explain the pregnancy testing procedure and talk with her regarding pregnancy choices (parenting, adoption, abortion). By using the “Love Approach” method, Advocates learn to help clients see a vision and a future for themselves and their preborn children.

“Bright Futures” Mentor

Mentors reach out to men and women who are new parents and give them practical parenting and life skills through curriculum that takes them from fetal development, to nutrition, to discipline, to setting a budget, and even Christian discipleship. Mentors build an ongoing relationship with clients; providing a positive, stable influence.

**We currently have a great need for male mentors**

Volunteer Nurse

Our Volunteer Nurses serve as part of the Corona Life Services Medical Team which provides support and care to clients, maintaining professional standards of care. The Volunteer Nurse works in conjunction with the other clinic volunteers to assure the clients are receiving the best medical, nursing and psycho-social care possible. Nurses administer pregnancy tests, perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds and provide community referrals for clients – all while demonstrating Christ’s love to each client.

Abortion Recovery Counselors

These counselors and facilitators lead women through curriculum designed to help them deal with their grief, guilt & shame. There is great opportunity to help heal women who are afflicted with negative thoughts and teach or remind them of God’s forgiveness and His ability and desire to make each of us whole.

Pregnancy Loss Counselors

Pregnancy Loss Counselors offer comfort and hope to women who have suffered miscarriage, still-birth or infant death.  Counselors work with women to help them process their grief and support them in a time when others may not understand the profound nature of their loss.

Receptionist

Receptionists provide an orderly and friendly atmosphere in the center’s office by ensuring that phone calls and clients are welcomed and served appropriately. Receptionists schedule appointments, handle the intake of clients requesting services, and answer the phones – including crisis calls.

Office Assistant

Assistants will help the Center Director and Nurse Manager, performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Assistants also serve as back-up receptionist, help with special projects, mailings, sorting baby clothes and items, etc.

Bible Study Leader

Leaders will lead or host a Bible Study or Small Group for clients, giving them an opportunity to know the Lord or get to know Him better.

“Picture This…” Abstinence Program Team

Abstinence Program Leaders and Assistants will lead or help facilitate classes and events both in the center and out in the community. There are many ways to serve within the program including pre-event planning, day-of event setup and tear-down, seminar/class leadership, one-on-one mentoring, community outreach and much more.

**This program is still developing – male and female leaders are urgently needed.

Speakers Bureau

Bureau members will be trained about the center, its services, abortion, fetal development, abstinence, etc. Speakers will be called upon to attend and give presentations at events, schools, churches and more, as a representative of CLS and the cause of the preborn.

Church Liaison

Church Liaisons act as the link between Corona Life Services and their home church. Liaisons work with the Outreach Coordinator to keep their church informed and involved with Corona Life Services year-round, but also are the point-person for events like Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, the CLS Annual Banquet, the Mother’s Day Rose Sale, the Walk for Life and more.

Event Staff

If you cannot commit to an ongoing volunteer commitment, Corona Life Services would still love for you to be involved in events like our annual Walk for Life. Events often require a lot of staffing for things like planning, setup, registration, crowd-control/security, tear-down, clean-up, and much, much more.
